#PODCAST weFEEDsa empower over 1,100 youth from around KZN through their new Project Community drive #sabcnews

By Newsbreak Producer Matthew Veeran - Through their new Project Community drive, non-profit organisation "weFEEDsa" are on a mission to upskill over 1,100 unemployed youth from the eThekwini, Msunduzi and Ugu municipalities. The first leg of the campaign got underway last week, where the youth were deployed on the ground to help clean up and restore neglected areas. weFEEDsa CEO, Zahid Fakey says it's the first time they are undertaking such a massive employment drive and they want to dispel the myth that today's youth are lazy and disinterested in work. He says once the campaign concludes next year, those under their employ will hopefully have the tools to be able to secure long-term jobs...
