This is the clarion call by community organisation the Networking HIV & AIDS Community of Southern Africa or NACOSA as we mark World AIDS day. According to the United Nations (UN) 39 million people globally were living with HIV in 2022. Locally, there were 7.8 million people living with HIV aged 15 years and older in South Africa in 2022. NACOSA recently launched their "It Takes a Village to End Gender-based Violence" campaign which will stretch across this year's 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.
