According to the World Bank Findex 2022 database, approximately 41 percent of adults in Africa with transaction accounts made a digital payment in 2021, compared to the 27 percent in 2017.  As the narrative surrounding payment methods shifts, some financial experts are calling for consumers to embrace the benefits that come with e-commerce trends.
