That's according to Justine Lacy, the Clinical Executive at Profmed. Yesterday marked World Cancer Day - an international day marked to raise awareness on cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. Lacy says the cost of cancer treatment in the country ranges from R10,000 to R450,000 per year - which excludes the price of prescription drugs and other associated costs...
