By Newsbreak Producer Taliesha Naidoo - Nutrition experts are warning that the population on the Gaza Strip, especially children, are at an imminent risk of severe malnutrition. According to the World Food Program, even before the Israel-Hamas conflict, nearly 70 percent of Gazans were dependent on humanitarian assistance for food. UNICEF says about 90 per cent of children under the age of two are now subject to 'severe food poverty'. To urgently address what is being described as catastrophic levels of hunger in Gaza, humanitarion organisation - World Central Kitchen - has partnered with The Wonderbag to distribute food kits and warm meals to affected families. These bags, also known as a Wonder Cooker, uses heat-retaining technology to slow-cook food without the need for electricity or gas. Sarah Collins, Founder and CEO of The Wonderbag, is currently based at Cairo in Egypt. She will be manufacturing bags to distribute to affected families in Gaza. Collins explains how heat retention cooking will help address food insecurity....
