ABOUT THE POEM: This is a translated version of a mind-blowing poem “COVERT GUILE” OF THE LOVER. The poem is about what the girl’s friend told the lover by way of warning. She elaborates about the clandestine lover’s stealthy visits at night bother the girl’s psyche because of the rumourmongering of the chieftain’s adversaries.
