THE SACRED SPEAR How unlike others' spears, it's true,   This warrior's spear from our village grew.   At times it rests in his humble space,   Gathering dust in its quiet place. Yet sometimes bathed in the pond so clear,   Decked with flowers by hands so dear,   Carried in processions with pride,   As harps and songs echo far and wide. It reaches the battlefield fierce and grand,   Spreading terror across the land.   Striking fear in the hearts of men,   As the world trembles again and again. There it clashes with royal might,   Against the elephant in battle's fight.   An ocean of soldiers, bold and strong,   Yet the spear cuts through all day long.
