Poetry: I Hate Mondays

I Hate Mondays It’s Sunday night I’ll stay up too late Avoiding Monday Which is like waking up In your bed and finding a cyclops And not knowing if she’s done away with your wife Or you are seeing your wife clearly for the first time. And as if dealing with a cyclops is not enough Your boss will want to know where the report is The report due last Friday. All in all, it is better not to go to sleep Better not to go to sleep Sunday night. Roe 2/1/2021
