Pokémon 101 (For those who know little about the series)

from A Play-by-play Review · host Henry the Host

On this episode, I go over the very basics of the Pokémon game franchise. Topics include how the battle system works, pokemon typing, generations I-IX, a few of the spin off games, and the basic formula that so many love.    Some additional topics I forgot to cover: -Each game/generation has a Pokemon professor in it who is kinda like your guide. Most of the professors are named after trees. -Gen VI's starters are Chespin, a grass chipmunk(?), Froakie, a water frog, and Fennekin, a fire fox. -Gen IX's starters are Sprigatito, a grass cat, Quaxley, a water duck, and Fuecoco, a fire crocodile. -Paldea, the region in Gen IX, is based on Spain.
