Vela, 38, of Stockdale was arrested at the intersection of S.H. 123 and C.R 417 in Stockdale and charged with possession of less than 28 grams of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 3, possession of between 1 and 4 grams of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2, possession of dangerous drugs, and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
