Episode 10 of That's a Good Word is now out! It was an honor to have Sgt. Bennie Durham on the show! Bennie has been a Chaplain with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office since 2001. He has also served as a reserve deputy for over 20 years. In 2017 he became a full time Chaplain and Deputy. Bennie was the Senior Pastor in three upstate SC Southern Baptist Churches for a total of 30 years, spending over two decades of his tenure at Marietta First Baptist Church. Bennie has an Associate Degree from Fruitland Baptist Bible College, Bachelors Degree from Liberty University and a Masters Degree from North Greenville University. We had the opportunity to discuss Bennie's job as both a Deputy and a Chaplain to the Police Officers of Greenville County.
