He started his career as a rookie police officer and climbed the ranks to Chief. During his career he wrote a daily journal which was turned into a book titled "The Blue View". The book and his interview gives an unfiltered, realistic portrayal of a career in law enforcement. The challenges, successes and frequent mistakes made by politicians.
