Police are urging people to ‘know your limits’ as the Manx Grand Prix gets underway on the Isle of Man. 2023 marks the centenary of the road racing event. Roads around the Snaefell Mountain Course, in particular, are expected to get busy this week as visiting race fans merge with Island residents going about their daily business. It’s just three months since thousands of people were welcomed for the TT – and whilst visitor numbers don’t match up to those recorded each June they do pose additional challenges. Sergeant Michael Taylor is in charge of the Roads Policing Unit and spoke to Tessa Hawley:
