As the cries for “free college” have gotten louder, and with a President who is pushing for a student loan relief plan, the question is -- does this really help students, especially those that need financial assistance the most? Inez explains why loan forgiveness is costly, unfair, and regressive.   Inez Stepman is a senior policy analyst at Independent Women’s Forum.
