Political Correctness vs. The First Amendment

from Dr. Carole's Couch · host Dr. Carole Lieberman

Political Correctness is not only stifling the American spirit, it is trying to take away our first amendment rights. And today's guest, Dr. Dathan Paterno, is a chilling example. Dr. Paterno, a clinical psychologist, was faced with being fired from the school board, having his license revoked and received death threats... all over a few tweets about the Women's March that some found offensive. This overreaction to alleged faux pas, in terms of Political Correctness, is rampant and people are being scapegoated for their use of free speech. Dr. Paterno and Dr. Carole discuss what the world is coming to: a far departure from when men were men and women were women. Between the clash of political agendas and sex roles, people are feeling lost and confused these days.
