Politics: Immigration and Religious Freedom

Greetings everyone! We are on the LAST political podcast before the 2024 election. On this podcast, we decided to group two unrelated topics together: Immigration and Religious Freedom. We begin the podcast talking about the biblical understanding of immigration. Where should a Christian stand in relation to this topic when it comes to US politics? Should we have open or closed borders? How should we treat the immigrants that are already in our country? Find out at the beginning of this podcast what our personal thoughts are about this, and, most importantly, what the Bible says about it! Then in the second half of this podcast, we tackled the topic of religious freedom. The issue we have in the political realm during this election is that we make a logical case for religious freedom that protects not only religious freedom for all people, but also freedom of speech. As we get into this issue, we discuss practical ways in which the candidates may or may not support true religious freedom or freedom of speech. We also discuss briefly about the various governments that existed during biblical times and how God's people responded. And yes, this does conclude our politics series!
