Clockwise Politics News — A man has been charged with attempted assassination of President Donald Trump following a shooting incident Saturday at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. The attack left the President unharmed, but security concerns are heightened. This is Clockwise politics news, 4 PM Eastern. Cole Tomas Allen, 31, appeared in federal court today in Washington, facing federal charges including attempted assassination and two firearms charges. He was taken into custody after shots were fired at the event.
