Polity
from Identity · host Matthew Conner
Nov 29th, 2020. Politics and politicians are terms derived from polity, or the Greek word polis meaning city. I hope you contributed data to the internet of things this Thanksgiving. An authoritarian is no politician. Policy is dependent on policing. Democracy is being subsumed by technocracy. A transition into a globalist state would present the ultimate example of 'body politic'.

The Journey Onwards with Anand Dattani

I have the fortune of speaking with some brilliant minds who all share the commonality of growing as third culture kids. We explore how their family culture and backstory had an influence on their upbringing; and we discuss what role it's played in defining their own values, passions and the perspectives they have on popular life topics. From the light-hearted memories around of growing up in a household with completely different different traditions to those of their schoolfriends, to the more serious topics of finding your identity and place in a mixed (or not so mixed!) society, Season 3 promises to bring you entertainment and thought-provoking content in every episode.
