Pollinator

Today we are talking about a photo called Pollinator. Now, the reason why this is called Pollinator and not Bee or whatever is because it's actually a drone fly, which is a type of fly that camouflages itself to look like a bee. This is a macro photography shot, so you can see the top of the fly, its eyes, its little feet getting right up into the stamen of the flower, getting the pollen off of it, doing its thing. Because I shot this in RAW the details were there to allow me to crop this a bit and still have a nice, crisp photo. That's one good thing about shooting RAW is that you do have a lot of those details. Make sure you follow along so you catch every episode of How I Took That Photo.
