Pop Culture: Should you name your child after a movie character?

After Game Of Thrones became a hit TV show, people in Washington state started naming girls Khaleesi, the royal title for Queen Daenerys. This started in 2012, and between then and 2023, there have been 119 babies named Khaleesi born in Washington.
