POP Podcast Episode 79: ESPN Predicts Pistons to Miss Playoffs, DET Regretting 2019 Draft Already?

On today's episode of The Palace Of Pistons Podcast, Aaron Johnson and Ryan Paye begin the show by discussing the recent playoff predictions for the 2019-2020 NBA season that do not include the Detroit Pistons. After venting about how much they disagree with those rankings, the duo talks about Kevin Porter Jr., who the Pistons basically traded on draft night to the Cleveland Cavaliers for $5 million in cash and second-round picks. Porter came to discussion after having a monster game in a recent Pro-Am, which led to Aaron and Ryan having a discussion about the Pistons' draft and if Detroit should be regretting not selecting him. The two then discuss a hot topic on Twitter from earlier in the week: Should Rasheed Wallace have his jersey retired by the Pistons? Aaron and Ryan also made a case for which rookie or sophomore on the Pistons they feel will have the strongest season next year. The show is wrapped up with a quick rundown of Detroit's recently released preseason schedule.
