Pop, politics and football

Tom and Juliet are joined by the Guardian journalist and friend of the show Tom Davies, along with a debuting special guest- renowned Melody Maker, NME and Guardian music journalist, author of Fear of Music and creator of the notorious Mr Agreeable character, David Stubbs. Together they discuss Andy Burnham's favourite albums and why he's more convincing as a music lover and football than his predecessor, lament the dearth of creativity when it comes to modern terrace anthems, and talk about the links between football fandom and music in general.
