Pop singer: Capri Everitt

One of my favorite parts of this show is getting to reflect back on the complexities of person's career, especially in the realms of music and art. So, it's an extra treat when I get the opportunity to talk with someone just climbing up that ladder. Capri is a young Canadian pop singer and songwriter now living in LA. She holds a Guinness World Record for singing 80 anthems in 80 countries in their native languages. Her songs and videos have amassed millions of streams and one of her recent releases, Arcade, hit #17 on the Billboard charts. We talk about all this, and more, including the recent TikTok shut down controversy and the marketing strength of the platform itself.
