This is the band at their finest and while their early 80's stuff may sound a bit dated, to me this one still sounds fresh and that acoustic guitar at minute 3:03 gets me every time. The band's catchy melody is a jaunty stroll down a musical path. A melody you can't help but whistle and hum as it progresses. Yet, Daniel Romano's pseudo-philosophical lyrics like "you have held one thousand years (by one thousand fingertips)" leave us in a state of contemplation.
