Avec schreibt seit sie 12 Jahre alt ist ihre eigenen Songs und landet 2015 einen ersten Hit mit dem Song Granny. 2016, 2017 und 2019 war die heute 24-jährige Oberösterreicherin in unterschiedlichen Kategorien für den Amadeus Award nominiert. 2019 hat sie die Auszeichnung dann in der Kategorie Alternative auch gewonnen. Bis jetzt hat Avec eine EP und zwei Alben veröffentlicht. In der Single Under Water geht es um Mental Health, Avec verarbeitet in dem Song ihre eigenen Depressionen und Angstzustände. Gemeinsam mit Andreas Häuserer erklärt sie in dieser Folge, wie der Song entstanden ist und warum es gleich drei Versionen von Under Water gibt. Außerdem erzählen die beiden, wie die Albumaufnahmen zum letzten Album Heaven/Hell in Irland waren und warum der Song trotz der ernsten Thematik happy klingt.
