Pope Francis opens Bishops meeting on 'Young People, the Faith and Vocational Discernment'

Yesterday, 3 October saw the start of a three-week international meeting of Bishops in Rome that will look at young people and their faith. Bishop Mark O'Toole is the Catholic Bishop of Plymouth and Chair of the Bishops' Conference Department of Evangelisation and Catechesis. Here Bishop O'Toole reflects on an eventful first day that saw the bishops celebrate the Opening Mass with Pope Francis joining thousands of people in St Peter's Square.
