The hospice provides specialist care for adults, babies, children and young adults from across the North East of England and takes a proactive approach to integrated care, working with other NHS providers in the region and the wider population.Prior to this, Steph was Chief Executive of Tell us North, the organisation that run Healthwatch Newcastle and Healthwatch Gateshead, giving her extensive experience in local healthcare and how this integrates with wider NHS systems. She has also held a wide variety of leadership and senior operational positions, including Interim Deputy Chief Executive at Newcastle Council for Voluntary Services; Authorisation Development lead and then Strategic Head of Corporate Affairs at NHS Northumberland Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG); Assistant Director, Commissioning at NHS North of Tyne, and Assistant Director of Operations at North East Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
