Hola apasionados del taekwondo ¿cómo están? Bienvenidos a un nuevo episodio de nuestro podcast Pasión Taekwondo, el programa para todos los amantes del arte marcial del puño y del pie.El día de hoy hablaré de algo que me causó mucha curiosidad por muchos años pero que nunca me había atrevido a preguntar y tampoco nadie me había dicho ¿Por qué se regresa el puño al hacer un movimiento básico?Si, tanto en las formas como en los básicos el puño que no golpea se regresa a la cintura, hay algunos estilos que lo hacen a las costillas pero ¿Por qué?Hasta antes de subir este episodio creía tener la respuesta, la leí en el libro Karate Coreano del maestro Duk Sung Son.En el libro afirma que el movimiento hacia atrás del brazo que no golpea le da mayor poder a la mano que si golpea. En el golpe se busca impactar con la mayor fuerza posible, para eso se gira la cadera, todo el cuerpo participa para concentrar el impacto en el golpe. Es una fuerza opuesta.Esa explicación me sonaba muy lógica pero para grabar este episodio decidí investigar un poco más.Esta forma de golpear llegó al taekwondo a través del karate. En el karate se llama "Hikite" que quiere decir "la mano que jala". En las formas deportivas del taekwondo han quedado relegados los movimientos útiles para la defensa personal. El propósito de la mano que jala es tomar al oponente y atraerlo hacia si mismo para que el golpe tenga más impacto.Ese es el único propósito, tomar al oponente.Comparto al final unas entradas de blogs en las que lo explican muy bien.
