Hola apasionados del taekwondo, hace un tiempo escribí un artículo sobre este tema y he querido compartirlo con ustedes porque me parece muy interesante.Las artes marciales siempre se entrenaban sin calzado alguno ¿no?Supongo que en interiores si, pues en muchas partes de Asia hay que quitarse los zapatos para entrar a algún lugar.¿Por qué entonces se han popularizado tanto los tenis para taekwondo en los últimos años?Los tenis surgieron para poder entrenar en condiciones poco ideales, exteriores en invierno o por ejemplo si entrenas taekwondo en una cancha de basquetbol a las dos de la tarde con el concreto caliente.Pero no todos entrenamos así.Muchos entrenamos en escuelas con piso especial para artes marciales, un sueño para muchos hace un tiempo. Eso hace que los tenis de taekwondo simplemente sobren.Te voy a decir algunos beneficios de entrenar taekwondo descalzo, puedes ir al artículo original para profundizar un poco más.Tus genes esperan que estés descalzo, así evolucionamos. Nuestro pie es muy complejo y está preparado para caminar por superficies irregulares, con diferentes texturas y temperaturas. La vida moderna los priva de todos esos estímulos.Propiocepción, el sexto sentido. La propiocepción permite a nuestro cuerpo saber la posición de nuestros músculos sin involucrar a la conciencia. Estando descalzos nuestros pies recogen mejor información del entorno, ¿estoy en un lugar inclinado? ¿qué tan resbaloso es el piso?Nuestro sistema inmune se beneficia si le damos ciertos estresores, el confort al que estamos acostumbrados nos debilita.Es más real, si entrenas descalzo puedes darte cuenta si una técnica funciona realmente.
