Pornography addict coaches The Naked Podcaster - Session 1 with Joshua Shea

It might seem strange that a porn addict is coaching The Naked Podcaster, however, when I read Josh's book, "He's A Porn Addict... Now What?" I realized that I have triggers from my past. 3 of my 4 serious relationships had porn as part of the mix and I became curious about how that impacted me, how I was attracting people and if I could have handled it differently. I also felt a little confused about my reaction to pornography.   In Session 1 we dive into my background and set the stage for session 2. I was nervous about this discussion but excited about the possibility of learning more about myself. I believe if we can begin to talk more about porn addiction and mental health, others may be able to address their addictions before they devolve to the unhealthy and criminal places where mine hit rock bottom.   FIND HIM HERE:  https://recoveringpornaddict.com/  Original interview link:    WELCOME TO THE COACHING SERIES:   When I wrote my book I did “Bear it all” - emotionally I was raw, vulnerable and the story was difficult to share but it was important for me to do it. I realized that I am only one story and that everyone has an equally amazing story to share. The podcast was born and for me, it was a way for my guests to “write a book in an hour” - to share their story in a condensed amount of time while being extremely raw, vulnerable, and genuine. It was an opportunity for the audience to feel less alone and build tools to cope with their own struggles.  The coaching calls were a result of a suggestion from one of my guests.  Not only am I physically The Naked Podcaster, but it’s my turn again to be emotionally naked so the listeners could know what it would be like to work with my guests.  This process wouldn’t work unless I was a good fit for the coaching call and I was really willing to open up.
