El fabricante CEntrance, que hace unos años llamó la atención con la interfaz de audio 'MixerFace' ofrece ahora una nueva versión que incluye las sugerencias de mejoramiento que dieron los podcasters y streamers. La ‘PortCaster’ tiene una gain de 65 dB para micrófonos como el Shure SM7B que requiere extra fuerza. También usa una conexión USB-C que es la tendencia en el mercado. Algo nuevo es que trae un ‘limiter’ para procesar el sonido mientras se graba y también incluye la posibilidad de grabar llamadas telefónicas con ‘mix minus’ con una resolución de 24 bits y 48 kHz. Los invitados remotos pueden estar en un teléfono celular o usando VOIP.
