Porter Martone Rising for Flyers | Philadelphia Flyers News

Porter Martone’s breakout season has the Flyers suddenly looking like a rising force, with the 19-year-old power forward drawing NHL star comparisons after dominating NCAA play and immediately impacting the NHL. While recent picks like Luchanko and Nesbitt missed the top 150, Martone’s late-season surge has scouts buzzing — if he reaches even half of Rantanen or Robertson’s production, the Flyers could be in for a big year. Meanwhile, Matvei Michkov dropped a tier due to defensive and fitness concerns, though he still led his team in scoring. Goalie Egor Zavragin is an above-average starter, and Denver Barkey, Oliver Bonk, and David Jiricek are all showing promise — with Jiricek, now on his third team, needing to sharpen his skating and defense to unlock his potential.
