from Suspects & Spirits · host Taylor Serafin

Can a painting hold a piece of someone's soul... or has some artwork simply fallen victim to decades of terrifying folklore? This week, we're stepping inside the world's most infamous "allegedly" haunted paintings. From a portrait blamed for devastating house fires across Britain to the mysterious painting a family claims unleashed shadow figures, unexplained noises, and nightmares after hanging it in their home, these stories have frightened collectors, paranormal investigators, and curious onlookers for decades.Today we will investigate the legends behind The Crying Boy, The Anguished Man, and the internet's most infamous haunted painting, The Hands Resist Him. Then, as a bonus, we'll take a look at a truly unsettling portrait made with the blood and ashes of a serial killer. Can evil leave an imprint on an object? Are these paintings truly cursed... or is the real power found in the stories we tell about them? You decide. 👻Got a story to tell?
