Portsmouth’s New Multi-Purpose Development

Portsmouth’s getting a major upgrade with a $30 million development that’s set to transform the skyline—adding housing, a new worship space for Christ Episcopal Church, and a permanent home for HAVEN, the domestic violence support organization. The project, which breaks ground this week, leverages a 98-year land lease to create a future-ready hub for community services, allowing HAVEN to expand staff and programs amid rising demand. Construction wraps in 2027, promising more homes, spiritual space, and stronger support for those in need—all in one visionary project.
