Professor Applewhite, Host and Nazim Rashid have invited several school administrators, special education teachers, and employers involved in preparing students for the workforce. The discussion will focus on why many students with at risk issues and disabilities are not transitioning successfully into post-secondary training or college, jobs or apprenticeships. Listeners will be pleased at some of strategies/ideas that will be shared. Special guests Dr. Ann Hart from the Arizona Department of Education and United Youth League and Jessica Webb, Director of Human Resources for the City of Avondale School District in Arizona have been invited to participate. Also, an anonymous human resource professional shares some in-house secrets about the hiring and elimination process at major corporations.
