The "Blue Gold" Discovery Maggie Hart interviewed Joe Gilberti, a civil engineer from Florida, about his discovery of a unique water well and the intense suppression he has faced while trying to bring the water to the public. The Pipeline Plan vs. "Big Pharma" As a civil engineer, Gilberti's plan is not to bottle the water but to provide it directly "to the tap." He noted the well is strategically located next to the Peach River Pump Station, a four-county regional hub. He claims a single pipe could supply clean, alkaline spring water to three million homes. Gilberti stated this plan is a direct threat to "Big Pharma" and other corporate interests, who he says "want to lower the level of service of water supply" to "sell medicine." He and the rancher allegedly turned down a $500 million offer from groups like Nestle and Mosaic, who only wanted to create a bottling plant. "Subduing" by Government and Corporations Gilberti detailed a timeline of "subduing" tactics he and his family have endured since trying to publicize the well: Boston Marathon Day (2013): Gilberti emailed Governor Rick Scott about the well on April 15, 2013. Five hours later, the Boston Marathon bombing occurred. His bond for an unrelated $500 cyberstalking misdemeanor (which he claims was for whistleblowing against Mosaic's law firm) was suddenly raised to $300,000. He was jailed for two months, during which time his associates tried to "steal this ranch." The Stoneman Douglas Connection (2018): On January 28, 2018, Gilberti submitted his $40 million pipeline funding agreement to the FDEP in Tallahassee, located in the Majory Stoneman Douglas building. Seventeen days later, the Majory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting occurred.
