The two top goalies in the Vezina race faced off in Vancouver tonight, as the Winnipeg Jets came to town to face the Canucks. In the end there were 2 Vezina caliber goalies in this game, but they were both on the Canucks!!! After a stellar start, Demko mysteriously pulled himself from the game before the halfway mark of the second period, however, Casey DeSmith kept the shutout intact for the second half of the game. Hoglander with another even strength goal, and Hughes looking back in full Norris form.
