Hey, welcome back to Parents Who Think. Denusha here, to Nisha Melina Durbin, your host and producer. Today, I have some exciting news to share about the future of the show. As many of you know, back in January 2024, we rebranded from the School For Mothers podcast to Parents Who Think.

Now, we didn't just change the name, we switched genres, radically altering our format from interviews to becoming the only family debate show out there. I was on a steep learning curve as we made that change, but we got off to an amazing start. Listeners love the debates, likening them to gripping mini-series on the most controversial topics Parents face today. The momentum was real, and without much effort, we climbed right back up to being a top 2% podcast globally of all shows.

And that's something we're incredibly proud of. The Wii, by the way, is our small, but mighty podcast team. But here's the thing. These intense debates asked a lot of you, and honestly, they asked a lot of me too.

Processing all that information week after week deep and heavy issues, oh, it was a lot to take in. So over the summer, we took a step back to reflect on what truly serve you our listeners while maintaining that sharp edge Parents Who Think has become known for. Going forward, we're shaking things up a bit. Studying this month, you'll be hearing bite-sized episodes that's 15 minutes or less, where we'll bring on Parents Who Think to answer some thought-provoking questions like, here we go.

As a parent who thinks, what ideal challenge do you find yourself wrestling with for most, lately? Why do you think it matters? And, as a parent who thinks about the future, what possibility or trend are you most concerned about or excited by? And here's another one.

As a parent who thinks deeply, what's a question you've been asking yourself lately? And what have you discovered in your search for answers? These micro-episodes will just all a chance to reflect without the intensity of full-on debate each week. But don't worry, the debates aren't going anywhere.

We're just shifting them to a quarterly format. That's one per season. The next debate will drop in January 2025. And trust me, it's gonna be a hum-dinger of a hot topic.

In the meantime, if you haven't already subscribed to the Parents Who Think Substack Now's the perfect time to do so. We'd love to continue the conversation with you over there. And mark your calendars for September 14. We'll click off this new format with a micro-episode featuring British literary giant, Clovis Trapped, another of five.

Her work is not just storytelling, but a vivid excavation of what it means to be human. I can't wait for you to hear it. So join me on this next adventure as we continue to feature an array of parents who are thinking deeply about the important topics affecting us all as we raise our families. Thanks for being part of this P.W.T.

community. I'm really treasure you. And I'll see you on September 14.
