Post Traumatic Clout Chasing Syndrome
from Touchdowns and Tangents Hosted by Touchdowns & Tangents
On the heels of the 2018 NBA draft, Kenneth & Pete open the show addressing what the impact the life and death of XXXTentacion as well as Jimmy Wopo. They stress the importance of not quitting on the youth because of their choices and throw out the hypocrisy of demonizing XXX but giving other musicians passes when all musicians have grimmy backstories. The duo goes from Jay Rock, Nas and Jay Z & Beyonce to how pissed they are about Madden ratings and what NFL players would be great soccer players. They get right into Take or Tangent on giving athletes second chances, the ESPN body issue and who might get fired first. Touchdown or Turnover continues the petty G.O.A.T Terrell Owens, Alex Smith, Martavis Bryant, Aaron Donald and the sexual assault case of Jameis Winston and former Houston Texans wide receiver Keith Mumphery's lawsuit against his former school Michigan State. The duo ends the show on an emotional note from Kenny and Pete's stand for LiAngelo Ball not being drafted and how the media scapegoats him.
