Postcards
from John Keaton - Sonic Heartbeat Music Hosted by John Keaton
This is an emotional ballad that I wrote many years ago with my songwriting partner, Markus Ruffing; The recording was done in Havre De Grace, Maryland in 2026. It is written from two perpectives. Here are the lyrics; POSTCARDS Words and Music by John Keaton and Markus Ruffing Tell Me A Story Now, Sing Me a Song I’m sure you care for me but it’s been so long Sad as it seems, I was part of your dreams And when you woke up, I was still there and I wish you were here. Like the world your spinning ‘Round and around Still, I hope more than anything That you soar with the doves Postcards with sea of blue, The colors of you Now the seasons they slip away They’re faster than the truth. (Interlude) OOOH - Oh, Oh OOOH - Oh, Oh I miss you Yes, I love you Don’t forget me I am part of your soul And I wish you were here. NOW……. Tell Me A Story Now Sing Me A Song I’m sure you care for me But it’s been so long. I Miss You Yes, I Love you Don’t forget me I am part of your soul And I wish you were here I wish you were here, now Now.
