Today on MedNet21, we’re going to discuss Postpartum Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. Pelvic floor disorders are common conditions experienced by women and include issues with bladder control, pelvic organ prolapse, and bowel control. Pregnancy and postpartum are a time when women may first experience pelvic floor conditions. For some these conditions resolve with time, but for others they persist. There are many available non-surgical and surgical treatment options available for symptomatic pelvic floor disorders.
