Potomac Coach Keith Honore

Keith Honore faced a monumental challenge when he stepped into the role at Potomac High School, succeeding his own former coach, the legendary Kendall Hayes. But he rose to the occasion, forging a legacy of his own at the Dumfries school—guiding the team to two state championships, multiple regional and district titles, and dedicating himself to the growth and development of young athletes.Coach Honore joins me to reflect on his incredible journey at Potomac, including the experience of coaching his sons—most notably Kyle, a talented guard who earned a full scholarship to Wingate before tragically passing away shortly after arriving on campus.We discuss the ways Coach Honore and the basketball community continue to honor Kyle’s memory, and the meaningful work being done in his name.It was truly an honor to sit down with Coach Honore and share in his powerful story.
