Forgiveness is not the absence of pain, forgiveness is not reconciliation, it’s not giving that person another opportunity to hurt you, nor forgetting what someone did to you. Forgiveness is an act of faith; it’s simply letting go of the anger the thoughts of vengeance, bitterness and let God. Jesus Died to empower you and I to forgive others, so we would not have to carry our sin and someone else sin.
