POV — Generalist Everywhere

The AI unlock nobody's naming: **the entire company becomes generalists.** Everyone solves their own problem. Nobody says "I don't know that" ever again. That phrase — *"I don't know that, go to Joe"* — has been the load-bearing sentence of every company since the first company. It's how we deferred responsibility, accountability, and action. It was never wrong to say. But it was always a cost. AI takes that cost off the table. **Imagine 200 CS reps solving 98% of issues in seconds.** 50% of the sales team delivering the highest-impact pitch, on brand, in three languages, across four time zones. An accounts receivable person, an HR director, a senior manager — every one of them now solving problems that used to require a warm handoff. **This is not a headcount play.** Proper AI enablement makes everyone 200% effective — it does not reduce the org. It removes the friction. The organization built on generalists everywhere is the organization that stops losing weeks to the "I don't know that" tax. I sit down with clients and I feel like Prometheus. Not just fire — **gasoline.** The unlock is addicting to watch. — Peter Saddington — AI consultant, investor, founder of the Collegiate Racing Series.
