Poverty Simulation - Fall 2022 Preview (With Minnie Wood and Jill Racicot)

What is a poverty simulation? For starters, it's not a game. But it is a unique, hands-on way our nursing (and other health) students are learning how to be more empathetic and see what it's like for people on or below the poverty line to receive proper care. Hear from the simulation organizers themselves on what these students are learning that has a tremendous impact on their community outlook and their professional and personal education.
