Power Automate

Looking for ways to improve productivity in your medical practice? Today’s BIG Ideas podcast comes from a practice in the southeast that is trying to qualify for MIPS measures but has a very manual, labor intensive process to gather the required data.  Listen to hear a brief introduction to Microsoft’s Power Automate tool.  We have used Power Automate to replace a process that would have taken a full time employee over a month.  The process takes about an hour to run and will read data from our data warehouse, scan specific PDF files for the information we need, and write that data back to our data warehouse.  We have found Power Automate to be be very powerful.  The free desktop version has met all of our requirements so far.  If your practice is like many practices — struggling to staff and to increase productivity after the pandemic, this podcast could be exactly the solution you need.
