Power for a Purpose - Come, Holy Spirit

Billy Graham once commented that “The most desperate need of the nation today is that men and women who profess Jesus be filled with the Holy Spirit.” As we start this new series we ask: What does it mean to pray “Come, Holy Spirit”? How and why should we be filled with the Holy Spirit? Nick reminds us that Jesus was empowered by the Holy Spirit, and in the same way the Holy Spirt has been given us. He equips and empowers God’s people to continue the mission of Jesus and communicate the message of Jesus. So, what if we were obedient to the Holy Spirit and followed his prompting wherever that may lead? What if we dedicated ourselves to receiving more of the Holy Spirit, spending time with him, learning from him?
