As an accountant, Barbara helps small to medium size business owners maximize their profit while limiting their tax liability. She received her Bachelor of Accounting degree in 2006, after which she worked doing taxes and bookkeeping for small businesses locally.  During the pandemic, Barbara started Keeping It Straight Bookkeeping & Accounting to be a virtual accounting firm providing service to businesses all over the US. She is a member of the National Association of Certified Bookkeepers, the American Institute of Public Bookkeepers, a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, and a US Navy veteran.  When not working with her clients to become the true CEO of their business, Barbara enjoys doing crafts such as crochet, knitting, and watching Disney movies with her best friend and companion animal, Princess Leia.
