Power in a pantsuit | The role of women

Women empowerment is a trending theme in the world right now, and as women ourselves, we have a few thoughts on the matter. We filtered the idea of "Female Empowerment" through a biblical lens, and... surprise, surprise! Even if a woman wears a pantsuit, empowerment via our gender is never something we're told to strive for. But Eve just wanted to be like God, sooooo badly… Good thing us women never have that problem, right?  ________________________ When this is the day it feels like God's will for you is pain, sadness, and sorrow… When this is the day you were dismissed as being too sensitive or highly emotional or all of your medical concerns were blamed on menstruation or menopause... Don't even entertain distrust in the Lord. Rehearse his goodness. Satan wanted Eve to doubt his goodness, and she did. But we can take warning from that. Trust God. Trust his goodness. Anxiety and fear have no place alongside trust in God.
