Power of Patients with Lynne Becker

from Bold Like Her Podcast · host Kim Douglas

Lynne is the founder of Power of Patients. She shares her journey of  learning through her 2 daughters' distinctively different head injuries, concussions versus TBI, (Traumatic Brain Injury) that if you have seen 1 brain injury, then you have only experienced 1 brain injury. No 2 brain injuries are alike. It was a test of her own patience, but more importantly, a test to her commitment to understand what has happened to my daughters and how to help them. And it is through this journey, that she wants  to share her knowledge and help others. She's spent 25+ years in the clinical trial industry and is now putting all of her knowledge and experience into the website and an app called "Sally" which allows patients to input their own data to be used for research. Lynne is now in the process of planning out the 2023 initiative which will include more reserach, fund raising, and marketing!  In addition, she's on the hunt for George Clooney! #wheresgeorge As it turns out his Aunt Rosemary established the Betty Clooney Foundation to help those with  traumatic brain injuries back in the 80's!     Power of Patients Sponsor: www.andriandolce.com
